2007 BMW K1200S 23, 668 miles.
Perfect sport touring bike. Not a grocery getter, but a back roads blaster. Plenty of power with Remus CF exhaust, PCIII, and a PC Quick Shift for clutchless shifting like the K13S. Black powder coated wheels, grip puppies, almost new Michelin PR3's, a little carbon fiber here and there. Annual and 24K service just done. (>$800) No problems. Bike runs great.
The brakes, which are both linked and antilock, are the best in motorcycling, IMO. The engine is linear and plenty fast. I have a K1300S now, and the K12S with PCIII and QS is just as fast. This is a perfect bike for the right guy. If you're just going to ride around town, this isn't for you. This bike is meant to be "sport" toured, not babied. I've done all maintainance on time and have never had any problems with anything on the bike. Yes, BMW's clunk when they go into gear. They all do it, and so does this one. It's "normal, " according to BMW.
